Iris Bond
Family and friends will gather on the 24th June 2024 to farewell Iris Bond, a founding trustee and treasured friend of the International Opera Awards and Opera Awards Foundation. Iris was with us quite literally from the very beginning: a trusted advisor, fierce advocate, and fairy godmother to us and to the young artists we’ve supported over the past decade. Her grace, humour, and generosity of spirit were one in a million, and have helped to make the Opera Awards what it is today. We shall all miss her terribly.
